About Tammie

It has been over 30 years since my first yoga class in college & I continue to practice and learn how essential both therapeutic touch and yoga are to our overall well-being.
I studied in Bend, Or., Byron Bay, Australia and Playa Samara, Costa Rica. I also taught Holistic Nutrition and Complementary & Alternative Medicine in Costa Rica. Travel has been a wonderful school for me over the years as well. Movement is a deeply personal and intuitive practice. Most of us start with a class or practice and over the years experience many different teachers and styles. Eventually we find what suits our body, mind and spirit. We discover so much about how our bodies change daily, from regenerating cells to developing new awareness of our muscles and joints. We gather an abundance of information through a regular wellness practice. My passion is to encourage people to practice yoga regularly, to move their bodies to facilitate circulation and to practice wellness daily. Just as we feed ourselves with good food, a good nights sleep, loving relationships, and deep breaths, so too can we feed not only our bodies, but our mind and soul with bodywork & movement. |
